plz help i dont understand ANYTHING HELP!!!!
well i just bought guildwars eye of the north and i am totally confused then wen i went to the wiki lookin for a good skill set i found out this game is an expansion pack and needs 1 of the others to play. first off im playin this game without any other guild wars like it says i need so plz help me understand all this i cant find any help anywhere

It's an expansion only. To actually play the game, you'll need one of the three campaigns:
Guild Wars: Prophecies Guild Wars: Factions Guild Wars: Nightfall Eye of the North is the only expansion, so as long as you grab a box that's NOT eye of the north, you should be okay. |

Well, if you start off in Ascalon, you must have Prophecies as well as Eye of the North. Are you sure you didn't buy the pack with both?

well the game case just says guild wars but wen i start the game it says eye of the north

Did you start off in Ascalon? There are packs that have Guild Wars Prophecies and Eye of the North bundled. I usually see those or Prophecies/Factions bundles. Never really anything else alone. That or GotY editions of Prophecies.

It's the login screen. Over time, as the game was updated, the login screen would change with the most recent chapter (or in this case, expansion). It says Eye of the North for everybody.

i guess its a pack but the case just says guild wars and over 3 million players worldwide like i said i started in ascalon and wen i start game its says eye of the north not prohpecies and if it helps with my activation card said type /bonus items to get extra stuff wich i did and i got some weapons

Yep. You got the GotY edition of Prophecies. Everyone has the Eye of the North title on the top of their screen. Personally, I wish you could change this. The layout for Factions was my favorite. Same with the violin music. Maybe because I'm half oriental, but I loved it nonetheless.
